Harley-Davidson® Softail® Motorcycles For Sale in Denver, Colorado
The Softail Family of Motorcycles by Harley-Davidson
In the lineage of American motorcycles, one name sticks out from the pack: the Softail. This bike was introduced by Harley-Davidson in the early 1980s and it almost immediately grew to legendary status. Using the classic look of a Harley-Davidson® cruiser, the bike added a hidden rear suspension system to give the bike excellent handling and performance. Today's Softail motorcycles are every bit as stylish as the early models, but with more modern features and even more powerful engines. Here at Sun Harley-Davidson®, we carry many of the newest Softail models. Stop by our Denver, Colorado location if you're in Boulder or Fort Collins to take one for a test ride!
Softail Slim
When you want a low-slung cruiser that can keep up with the best of them, go for the Softail Slim. It's seat height is lower than other Softail models and it's rear end assembly is narrower, meaning it handles like a dream and is perfect for riders with smaller frames. It also tears up the pavement with an ultra-powerful High Output Twin Cam 103B engine. It might be smaller in stature, but it's big in power.
Softail Slim S
Harley loves to push the limit on power, and that's exactly what they did with the Softail Slim S. Built on the Slim frame, this factory custom bike replaces the standard engine with a Screamin' Eagle Air-Cooled Twin Cam 110B engine that's one of the most powerful stock engines Harley has ever produced. For a unique look, go for the optional military-themed trim package which harkens back to the motorcycles Harley sold to the U.S. government during World War II.
Fat Boy
Bulky and brash, the Fat Boy is a bigger take on the Softail frame. It's got a bulked up suspension, bigger solid disc wheels and tires, and a serious attitude problem. This bike also comes with a High Output Twin Cam 103B engine and is a great base model for cruising and touring.
Fat Boy S
With that bigger Fat Boy frame, it was only natural that Harley would try to throw in an even more powerful engine than normal, which is how we got the Fat Boy S. A true factory custom, the Fat Boy S has a mean blacked out style that comes straight from the custom shop. It also rolls heavy with a Screamin' Eagle Air-Cooled Twin Cam 110B engine.
Heritage Softail Classic
For a ride on the nostalgic side, check out the Heritage Softail Classic. This bike is as smooth as fresh pompadour haircut. It features wrapped fenders and white wall tires as well as a number of other classic design details such as chrome components and detailed leather. You can also bring another rider along thanks to the two-up riding arrangement.
Softail Deluxe
When you want something with just a hint of classic styling, go for the Softail Deluxe. It's wrapped fenders and white wall tires look good travelling down any road. It's lines are more simple and it's features more reserved than the Heritage Softail Classic, and that makes it a great option for modern riders.
Breakout
The loud and flashy younger brother in the Softail family is the Breakout. This is the bike for those who can't help but stand out. It has massive spoke wheels and a compelling mixture of different types of finishes. There's chrome, paint, powder coating, and more, all on bike. That level of flash and detail is what makes this bike both a head turner and a bike people stop to exam.
